Mallard drake from the Illinois River. Style by Henry Toubert Sr (1870-1934) from Pekin, Illinois. Henry began carving when he was 15 and carved approximately 200 birds before his death. Carved from White pine with the head carved with a pocket knife and made hollow. Circa 1920 - Very collectible decoy!
